So you’ve been struggling to get rid of unexpected guests in your home. It can be frustrating to hear scratches and bumps from the attic in the middle of the night. A professional wildlife removal company is the surest and safest way to get rid of your furry friends.

Though it may not seem apparent immediately, the invasion of wildlife into your home can pose a major threat to all involved. The different animals should be handled carefully to protect both the homeowner and themselves.

 Humane Capture

Whether its bats or raccoons living in your attic, it’s vital to use the most appropriate and humane traps to capture them. Every animal trapping is unique and each requires unique strategies. The different species require different kinds of baits to lure them out.

At all times, it is essential to perform live catching so the animals can be relocated. The traps used should be big enough to accommodate the unwanted guest. Wildlife laws are set in place to protect the wildlife and using small cages can be considered animal cruelty.

Exclusion Work

One of the most effective ways of wildlife removal is the closing of all access points to the house. Even if you get rid of one raccoon but don’t get proper exclusion work done, another raccoon will be attracted by the scent of the previous occupier and come set up shop in your house.

As a wildlife removal company, we provide effective exclusion work that stops any old or new wildlife from accessing your home. A detailed survey is done on your home to determine all points of entry. Then, using concrete and metal materials, we seal all these potential entry points thus preventing further access.

Though the wild animal is gone, the danger they pose isn’t. During the wild animal’s residency, they cause significant damage by urinating, defecating and giving birth. Thus, they contaminate your home with bacteria, insects, and disease.

We offer thorough antimicrobial treatment and dropping clean up which we carry out as soon as possible. This will protect your family from the dangers caused by the animal leavings.

Attic and Insulation Repair

Getting rid of the animal is only the first part of the solution. Raccoons and bats can cause considerable damage to your attic and your insulation due to their chewing of cables and getting into walls. We assess this immediately the rodents are removed and begin repairs

The areas affected should be cleaned using antimicrobial treatment to get rid of any health risks. We provide professional attic and insulation restoration using quality products that cannot be easily chewed by rodents.

A Brief History Of Brighton Michigan And Why It Remains A Popular Suburb Of Detroit

Brighton, Michigan is a small city in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan with a population of just about 7,500 people. It is closely associated with the South Lyon-Howell-Brighton urban area since they are all interwoven and have similar interests. It has warm summers with plenty of thunderstorms that generate off of the Great Lakes. Then in winter, the winds blow cold and dry, sometimes covering the area with lots of snow. Brighton is full of beautiful natural parks with nearby lakes that are clean enough to swim in and that are popular with fisherman as well. Here is a brief history of Brighton Michigan and the surrounding area.

The History of Brighton Michigan Began Around 1827

For the first 20 years the population remained fairly stable, but in the 1850s the population of Michigan increased a massive 600% and Brighton did as well. Brighton was the halfway point between Detroit and Lansing, Michigan so it became a stopover point where the stagecoach would rest the driver and change the horses for the long journey. The eventual introduction of the railroad is what really helped the area explode.

Brighton Was Born Of the Rapid Urbanization At The Turn Of The Century

At around 1900, nearly 65% of all Americans lived in rural areas earning a living farming, and ranching. Then, just 20 years later, the exact opposite was true, where 65% of the population lived in cities and urban areas with only 35% living on farms. One of the biggest reasons for the rapid change was the First World War.

That’s when many of the industrial cities, like nearby Detroit, went hard to work building the weapons of war. Many thousands of young men between the ages of 21 and 30 were drafted while their wives moved into the cities to work in the factories making tanks, jeeps, and weapons. The small town of Brighton, Michigan sent nearly 500 men into the war which was a large percentage of the population at the time.

Then, just another 27 years later, World War Two began which again caused many men to be drafted while their wives worked overtime in the factories of Detroit and the surrounding cities.

Brighton Has Always Benefited From Its Location

Most of the people in the town have always worked in Detroit, which was a center of factories that made automobiles and their many parts. People tended to move to the Brighton area from Detroit because it has always had a much lower crime rate yet was still an easy commute into town to work.

The many high-quality schools have always been an attraction for families that were trying to give their kids a better education than what Detroit could offer. With 6 elementary schools including 2 middle schools, there was a high number of children per household with up to 2400 students in a 7,500 population town. In the latest statistics, 39% of all students eventually graduate with a bachelors degree or higher.

Still to this day, Brighton, Michigan is a very small town on the outskirts of Detroit. It still is home to many workers that commute daily into the big city, then escape into Brighton for the peace and quiet found there. It will probably always be known for it’s location and the peace of mind it offers to families wanting good jobs yet good schools and security.
